Born at River Lot 55, township 18, R10 West Saint George, Manitoba. Just outside of Pine Falls, Manitoba.
Moved to Port Alberni in 1954 with his wife and first child, then had three more children. Romeo worked as a surveyor then got into the paper mill with MacMillan Bloedel in 1957 till his retirement in 1988.
He loved Family, Sports, Fishing , Golf, Hunting and the outdoors. Spent many hours at the Ice arena involved with Refereeing and Minor Hockey.
