Moved to Port Alberni in 1954 with his wife and first child, then had three more children. Romeo worked as a surveyor then got into the paper mill with MacMillan Bloedel in 1957 till his retirement in 1988.
He loved Family, Sports, Fishing , Golf, Hunting and the outdoors. Spent many hours at the Ice arena involved with Refereeing and Minor Hockey.
