On June 10, 1882 she was married to Jay Augustus Hawkins in Boston, MA.

MRS REBECCA A HAWKINS — Mrs Rebecca A Hawkins 78 of 137 N E Eight-first street died yesterday in her residence She leaves two daurghters, Mrs J F Triplett of Miami end Mrs. Lottie Hayes of Los Angeles, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p m tomorrow in the W H Comb Funeral Home. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park.
