"Mrs George A Spotts died Thursday at Milford, Michigan, age 42, when twin sons were only one day old. She was the daughter of Marie Schaefer of Hope. Surviving are her husband, 2 children, mother, 2 sisters, Georgina Hacker of Indianapolis and Alma C. Rominger of Winston-Salem, N. Carolina, and 3 brothers, George and Will of Hope, and Karl of Indianapolis. Funeral service was Tuesday at the Moravian Church with burial at Hope."
Looks like the compiler might have added a note for the book: ("She was Lena Pierce, first grade teacher in Hope in 1912.")
