She was born on October 29, 1935 and graduated from Forsyth High School with the tightly knit class of 1953. She married shortly after high school and raised three children who all titled her "The Best Mother in the World".
As a nurse, she worked at Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson, Missouri for 36 years. Carol loved nursing and loved her co-workers and many friends.
Her hobbies included reading, embroidery, quilt making, crossword puzzles, gardening, garage sales, and she especially loved watching Jeopardy. She was an avid hunter of morel mushrooms and Spring was her favorite time of year.
Carol's favorite pastime was reading. She loved words and she taught her children and grandchildren to love to read as well.
Her wonderful sense of humor and clever wit made Carol the life of every family gathering. She was a devout Christian and a lifelong member of the Kissee Mills Bible Church.
She is survived by her three children: Michael Casey (Nancy) of Villa de Tezontepec, Hidalgo, Mexico, Cathy Crawford (Steve) of Kissee Mills, Missouri, and Cindy Casey (Ronny) of Hughes Spring, Texas; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, C. G. and Susan Ethel Davidson; brothers Donald Ross Davidson, and John Dane Davidson; and grandchildren Sarah Casey and David Crawford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Kissee Mills Cemetery Association or the Charles E. Holman Morgellons Disease Foundation.
