"Home Happenings - Mrs. Jennie Harreff, 75, wife of Ithamar M. Harreff, died at her home on Wadsworth street at midnight last Sunday. She had been in failing health for more than a year. Deceased was born in Berlin township Jan. 12, 1858, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hawn. When quite young she came to Canfield and on Jan. 13, 1879, was married to Mr. Harreff. With the exception of 22 years spent in Youngstown, she had since resided in Canfield, a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the local Methodist church. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Frank Reihl and Mrs. Bessie Cappy, both of Canfield, two grandchildren and three brothers, Garfield Hawn, Portland, Oregon, Lewis Hawn, Kent and Oliver Hawn, Michigan. A sister, Mrs. Susie Hoover, Ravenna, died a year ago. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. G. C. Cornell officiating. Burial was made in the village cemetery."
