Wilt
WARSAW - John Edward Wilt, 60, of Walhonding Route 1, died at 3:50 a.m. today at Mercy Hospital, Mount Vernon following a short illness.
He was born Oct. 5, 1916, in Perry Twp. the son of Howard and Beatrice Barrett Wilt. On Nov. 29, 1933, he married Evelyn Randles, who survives.
Also suviving are four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Marilyn) Frost, Martinsburg, Mrs. Robert (Linda) Manson and Kathy Wilt, Coshocton and Mrs. John (Judy) Butler, Mount Liberty; two sons, Greg Wilt, with the U.S. Navy in San Diego, Calif., and Keith Wilt, Warsaw; one sister, Mrs. Marvin (Betty) Booth, Kimbolton; one brother, Ray Wilt, Martinsburg; and 15 grandchildren.
He was a retired employe of the J.B. Webb Co., Mt. Vernon and had also worked many years in the oil fields.
He was a member of the Ohio Lodge 199 F&Am of Bladensburg and the Glenwood Chapter 303 OES of Bladensburg.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Fischer Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. John Dudgeon officiating. Burial will be in New Castle Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and until time of services on Tuesday. Masonic services by the Ohio Lodge will be held at 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family requests that donations be made to the cancer or heart funds.
