Mrs. Dora Nelson, 80, of Vienna, died at 7:30 a.m. yesterday at her residence 1405 31st St., following an extended illness.

She was born in Wood county, a daughter of the late James and Phoebe Buskirk Atkinson.

She was a member of the Wayside Methodist Church in Vienna.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Julliette Gifford of Parkersburg, Mrs. Frankie Myers of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. India Lee Crone and Mrs. Fay Yocum, both of Vienna; four sons, Fred N. Nelson of the family residence, Raymond Nelson of Vienna,

Ralph Nelson and Burl Nelson, both of Marietta; one sister, Mrs. Emma Hager of Orlando, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her husband, Fred S. Nelson, in 1951.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Leavitt funeral home with the Rev. R. A. Atkinson officiating and burial will be in the Neal cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of the services.
