After a full life, Annie Mae (Wright) Hall, went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2021. Family and friends visitation will be Friday, March 19, 6 pm to 8 pm at Baker Funeral Home in Moultrie, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held graveside at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Leila Church Cemetery in Norman Park area.

Annie Mae (later known as Granny) was born on August 10, 1932, in Colquitt County, Georgia. Annie Mae was the daughter of the late Walter B. Wright and Annie Irene Weeks Wright.

She lived a fruitful service-filled life, caring for others. She went to school in Norman Park where she played basketball. She caught the eye of John (Son) Everette Hall, Sr., and they were married on August 8, 1951. They were members of Leila United Methodist Church.

She was a woman of great faith accepting the Lord's Providence over us all. She served her family and friends her entire life. Her cooking skills were legendary and included her homemade biscuits, cakes, and fried chicken.

As the end drew near, she was proud of her family and felt comfort in knowing she and Son had raised them well. In those last days, She assured her loved ones she was ready to take her place in the promise land.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Son, sister Myrtle Lee Moye, brother Edward Eugene Wright, sister Sara Francis Thompson, and sister Mary Lee Patterson.
