A native of Oxford, Miss., she was a retired seamstress for Garland's Department store in St. Louis, Mo. She was born on April 8, 1910, to the late William Thomas and Bethany Caroline Rackard [sic] Knight.
Graveside services were July 18, at Walnut Grove Cemetery near Bolivar. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of local arrangements. Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home of DeSoto were in charge of arrangements in Missouri.
Ms. Knight is surved by a daughter and one brother; six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
