Brandi Vonne Alden, 38, of Lodge Grass, passed to other the side camp on Friday May 10, 2019.

Amme'hke Iiwaakuxshi'sh "Uses her intelligence to help others", a name given to her by Janine Pease, was born March 18, 1981 in Sheridan Wyoming a daughter of Kim LeBeaux and the late Alvin Alden.

Brandi was a member of the Big Lodge Clan, a child of the Big Lodge Clan and attended the Lodge Grass Baptist Church. She practiced her culture and traditions, by participating in Sundance, Sweat Lodge, New Year's Dances, Crow Fair parade/dances and she was a member of the Rees Society.

Brandi, received her education in Lodge Grass and Central High School. She later received her GED in Oklahoma.

While in school she played Basketball, Volleyball and Track. She was involved in Indian Club, National Junior Honor Society, Honors Society and band.

She loved to read, hike, camp, spend time with friends and family. As a child she enjoyed riding horses, barrel racing, and exploring at her grandparents' home in Owl Creek. She was fearless, adventures, strong-willed, loyal, helpful, she was a very hard worker, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Brandi cherished her children, and instilled in them the same values she was raised with. She especially loved fishing, camping and hunting with her brother and dad.

Brandi earned her Bachelor's degree in 2012 with a major in Human Services/ Counseling, from East Central University in Ada Oklahoma where she was on the Deans Honor Roll maintaining a 3.33 GPA. She had planned to start a Master's program in Oklahoma.

Her father, Alvin Alden, grandparents, Joe and Ruth Alden Sr., grandmother, Rosalie LeBeaux, grandfather Glenn Fritzler. Uncles John Belo Alden, Ronald Falls Down, Everett Thornton, Randy Tolman and Rocky Tolman. Aunt, Lavonne Tall Bear. Brothers Shylon, Indian & Alvin Three Irons, Gary Joe; her good friends, Nyree Hogan, Steven Cole, preceded Brandi in death.

Survivors include her mother, Kim LeBeaux of Wyola, Brandi's five children, Zavier, Zechaya, & Quincy Jr. Lewis, Josiah & Jonah Guidry of OK; Her brothers Nathaniel Krakel, Jacob, Elijah (Chantal) and Marvin Wes Stops Jr. of Wyola. Aunt, Shawna Pretty Bear and children, Adopted Mother, Theresa Aragon Alden. Sisters Darci (William) Springfield and Joetta Hiwalker; Great Grandparents, Albert & Leona Fritzler, her grandparents Colleen(Richard) Sherwood, grandfather, Gregg (Rose) LeBeaux, Adopted Grandmother, Dorothy Napier. Adopted sister, Butterfly Rule. Good Friends, Roberta Walks Over Ice, Melissa Carpenter Fisher, Tiara Carpenter, Amberle Blaine, Nina Falls Down and Cheryl Polacek.

Funeral Service is Monday, May 20th at 10:00 AM at the Lodge Grass Baptist Church in Lodge Grass, Montana. Burial will follow at the Lodge Grass Cemetery.
