Howe,. -- At her residence on the 11th inst. of heart disease, Mrs. M. E. Howe, in the 54th year of her age.
Mrs. Howe has been a resident of Merrick County almost since its infancy, and the news of her death was received with deep regret by many friends and acquaintances.
Funeral services were held at her residence Tuesday, Rev. G. W. Newell officiating, and were largely attended. Funeral sermon will bee preached Sunday.
