Patricia Pauline Adams, 66, of New Bethlehem, formerly of Templeton, died Monday morning, Dec. 6, 2010, at her home, following an illness. Born Dec. 14, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., she was a daughter of the late Arthur M. and Pearl P. Pelky Smithson. Survivors include two daughters, Tresa Uplinger and her husband, Dennis, of Reynoldsville, and Cindi Lemay and her husband, Frenchie, of Oregon; a son, Mitchum Adams and his wife, Stephanie, of Brookville; four grandchildren, Joseph Adams, Elisha Uplinger, Jayce Adams and Payton Adams; a sister, Dorothy M. Freitag, of Bel Air, Md.; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michele Adams; a son, Arthur Robert Adams; and her ex-husband, Arthur Floyd Adams. A memorial service was held Thursday, Dec. 9, in the RUPERT FUNERAL HOME, 301 Penn St., New Bethlehem. The Rev. Jimmy Swogger officiated.
