MRS. WALTER AHRENSTORFF
Mrs. Walter Ahrenstorff, nee Hilda Jacobs, passed away following a heart attack at her residence at St. James, Minn., on Thursday, April 11, 1974, at the age of 79 years.
She was bom October 25, 1895 at Goose Lake, Iowa, and received her schooling at Hartley, Iowa.
On September 3, 1919 she was married to Walter Ahrenstorff at Hartley. They moved to Butterfield,
Minn., in 1923 and to St. James, Minn., in 1956.
Mrs. Ahrenstorff was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Altar Guild and the V.F.W. Auxiliary of St. James. She enjoyed her hobbies of sewing and gardening.
Her husband survives her, also a son Harold A. Ahrenstorff of Butterfield, Minn.,
and a daughter, Mrs. Lorimer (Ardyce) King of Redwood Falls, Minn.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother, Walter Jacobs of Sanborn, Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. Clifford (Irene) Rost of Hartley, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Mrs. Ahrenstorff were held Saturday, April 13, 1974 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in St. James
with Rev. Emil F. Peterson officiating.
Pallbearers were George Miest, Martin Wolle, Elmer Munsterman, Wallace Heldt, Darrell Ask and Arnold
King.
Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery at St. James, Minnesota
