Death of Aged Lady
After an illness of several months, Mrs. Elmina Snyder died at the home of her daughter Friday morning at four o'clock. Surrounded by loved ones, who had done what they could for her comfort and recovery, the dissolution came and the body returned to the dust and her spirit to God.

Mrs. Snyder lived the promised three score and ten years. Her long life was one of usefulness.

Her maiden name was Miss Elmina Reece and she was a daughter of the lamented Henry Reece, who was a very prominent citizen of Reece's beat and a fine good man.

She was a member of the Mt. Paran Baptist Church and was a very pious christian.

While a young woman she was married to Mr. Wright Snyder. She and this good man lived long and happily together, he preceding her to the grave by several years. Mrs. Snyder was lovingly and dutifully devoted to her family and a faithful good woman in all the relations of life. She leaves eight children to mourn her loss, all of whom now rise up and call her blessed. These bereaved children are: Mesers Henry, John, William, Thomas, David and Joseph, and Mrs. Will Hassell and Mrs. Robert E. Hobson. Very many friends sympathize with these in their great sorrow.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock by Rev. J. T. Bealle and the remains were interred at the Center graveyard near her old home in beat six.
