Edna married Norman Cramer, the love of her life on March 7, 1955, and together they opened Cramer's Rangeline Meat Company in Joplin. The success of this business allowed them to establish Cramer's Quality Meat market in Grove in 1989. Both markets are still family owned and operated and Edna enjoyed every minute of working with her family and loved interaction with the customers, many of whom became friends.
Edna's family was her life and spending time with them was her greatest pastime. She always put others before herself. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She sacrificed for them her entire life and loved them all completely and unconditionally.Family always came first for Edna.
She was a faithful member of Elk River Baptist Church and active in her Saints Alive Sunday School Class and VBS. She will be greatly missed by her church family.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Norman. Left to cherish her memories are her four beloved children; Norman Ray Cramer II and wife Jessica of Jasper, Missouri, Belinda Bledsoe and husband Russell, Charlotte Renay Crouch and husband John, and Jonathan Jay Cramer and wife Kim, all of Grove; Sister Billie Russell and husband Bud of Saginaw, Missouri and brother Howard Schnick of Jasper, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, all of whom she treasured.
There will be a visitation at Nichols-Stephens Funeral Home on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 5 – 7pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 6th at Elk River Baptist Church at 10:30 am, followed by burial at Olympus North Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Nichols-Stephens Funeral & Cremation Services of Grove.
