Santos Luis Chavez, 24, of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday, July 1, 2021. He was born to Santos and Carrie Chavez in Jonesboro, Arkansas on June 26, 1997.

He was a member of the Marked Tree Church of God. Though he was very shy, he would light up a room with his smile and laughter. He loved to fish, watch dirt track races and football.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Carolyn and Edward Patton and Celso Chavez.

Santos is survived by his parents, one brother: Chris Chavez (Gina) of Lake City, Arkansas, his fiancé: Lauren Branyan of Harrisburg, Arkansas, grandmother: Felicitas Andablo Garcia of Xilitla, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, four aunts and uncles: Amy Davidson (Mike), Isabel Chavez (Edelmiro Guerra), Francisco Chavez (Maricruz), seven cousins: Austin Davidson, Jasmine Guerra, Michaela Davidson, Denisse Guerra, Francisco "Panchito" Chavez, Karol Chavez and Gabriel Chavez.

Funeral service will be held at Marked Tree Church of God on Wednesday July 7, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow service at Potter Memorial Cemetery, Lepanto, Arkansas.

Brother Patrick Tucker will officiate the service.
