C. Ray Dow

C. Ray Dow, 46, Naples banker who was formally vice-president and senior operations officer of the Palmer First National Bank and Trust Co. in Sarasota, died Tuesday at Naples Community Hospital.

He was vice-president, cashier and operations officer of the First National Bank and Trust Co. of Naples where he had gone two years ago from Sarasota. He was connected with Palmer here for 16 years.

He leaves his wife, Betty J. Dow; a step-son, James Bruce Hyer of Sarasota; an uncle and aunt, Capt. and Mrs. James E. Dow of Virginia Beach, Va., and an uncle, Sam Dow of Los Angeles.

He was born in Virginia and was formally with the Federal Reserve system in Washington D.C. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict.

Hodges Funeral Chapel, Naples, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Collier Heart Fund or the Collier County Humane Society, both of Naples.
