Rosanna Leonard Guilfoyle was born on February 28, 1927 in Sperry, Oklahoma to Simeon and Ruby Bennett McDonald. She passed away on September 22, 2018 at North County Nursing and Rehabilitation in Collinsville Oklahoma.

Rosanna received her education in Sperry Oklahoma. She worked at Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator and assistant manager for many years and at Zebco. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was president of the Altar Society for 18 years.

Rosanna loved cooking, crocheting, quilting, working puzzles, crossword puzzle books, playing games and cards, fishing, picking pecans, gardening and loved flowers.

Rosanna married Ted Griggs and they had one daughter Marjorie. She later married Otis (Odie) Edward Guilfoyle on October 14, 1949 and had one son, Ronald George and another daughter Judith (Judy) Paulette.

Rosanna is survived by her sister, Athline Shipley and husband Bill of Sperry, Oklahoma, her daughter, Marjorie Short of Skiatook, Oklahoma, her son George Guilfoyle and wife Glenda, of Skiatook, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Robert Harper, John Harper, Tara Mizell, Amy Ayres, Alisa Hettich, and Hank Guilfoyle. She was also blessed with 21 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Rosanna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Odie Guilfoyle, brother Flavelle McDonald, sister Jewell Bridewell, daughter Judy Miller, granddaughters Dawna Harper Beene and Cassie Nelson Easky and two sons in law David Short and Sam Miller.

Rosary for Rosanna will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Skiatook Oklahoma on Wednesday, September 26 at 6:00 pm and funeral service on Thursday, September 27 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Music will be Ave Maria,

Amazing Grace sung by Taylor Conley and One Day at a Time sung by Bill Westmoland.

Pallbearers are Robert Harper, John Harper, Hank Guilfoyle, Jimmy Mizell, Cody Mizell and David Ayres.

Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Hettich, Bobby Guilfoyle, William Guilfoyle, Frank Guilfoyle, Curt Guilfoyle, Josh Selvidge, Tommy Shipley, Mike Shipley and David Shipley.
