Mr. John Jasper Quinney, Markham, Texas, passed away at his home Fri, morning at 3:40 a. m., at the age of 77 years, 8 months and five days. Mr. Quinney had been a resident of Markham for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna (Staggs) Quinney, one daughter, Mrs. A. C. (Alice Clara) Hardy of Bay City, two sons, John Jasper, Jr. of Markham, and Frank of Bay City; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Suitor of Comanche, Okla., and Mrs. Anna Jabes [Jobes] of San Antonio, Texas, and one half-brother, Sam Gibson of Cuero, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at the Baptist Church in Markham at 10:00 a. m., Saturday, June 1st. Rev. R. E. Black and Rev. Arthur Maxwell will officiate. The funeral arrangements will be under the direction of the Walker-Matchett Funeral Home.
