Hazel Travis was born to Clarence Burrow and Cordie Carter in Gallup, New Mexico. Hazel called Midland her home and worked here in retail for more than 40 years. In 1945 she married Herman Bolton who passed away in 1963. She then married Lee Travis in 1965, and he passed away in 1992.
She was a member of Cotton Flat Baptist Church, and Valley View Baptist Church. Hazel's hobbies included making crafts, quilting, cooking, and most of all she enjoyed family gatherings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, sister, Louise Timmons, brothers, Leroy Burrow, Ray Burrow, and Al Burrow, daughter, Donna Louise Carnett, and grandson, Aaron Carnett. Hazel is survived by Harold Bolton and his wife Shirley, of Midland, TX; Darrell Bolton and his wife Doris, of Midland, TX; David Bolton, of Dallas, TX; brother, Charles Burrow, of Austin, TX; sister, Frankie Wigginton, of Andrews, TX, 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
