The death year is inscribed 1913 on his marker which is incorrect, the burial date of 11 Jan 1913 is also on Stroud Cemetery records but this is probably a transcription error which was used for the marker. "Bud" Finney was shot & killed by Jacob Simon Denny during an altercation at Denny's store in Milfay, OK on Sunday, January 10th, 1915.
