Last rites were held for Elmer J. Sampson on Wednesday morning at 10 from the Retz Chapel with Rev. E. S. Tollefson officiating. Burial was in the Lake View Cemetery. Elmer J. Sampson was born in White Earth, N. D., July 22, 1906 and died at the hospital in Polson, Saturday, May 24.
He has lived in Polson since 1930 and he was married to Bessie Anderson in June, 1932.
Survivors are his widow, and four daughters, Bernice, Eleanor, Gayleen and Carol; four sisters and three brothers, Selma Enget of North Dakota, Ruth Lee, Mae Brien, Gladys Gomels, Melvin and Kenneth Sampson, all of Iowa and Edward of California. Pallbearers were H. W. Black, Leonard Newgard, Morland Antonie and Roger Davis.
