David Allan Satchell M.D., born March 30, 1945, died following stomach cancer surgery from complications related to liver failure, on November 7, 2007 at UW-Madison Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. He was 62 years old.
Born in Aberdeen, South Dakota and raised in Saginaw and Freeland, Michigan.
David married the former Beth Brown at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan in 1969.
David is survived by his parents, David and Shirley Satchell of Estero, FL and Freeland, MI; his wife Beth (Brown) Satchell; his son Jeremy Satchell of Glendale, CA; his son Todd Satchell of Manitowoc, WI; his daughter Amanda Satchell and son-in-law Mark Sheremeta of Hollywood, FL; his daughter Erin Yuen and son-in-law Michael Yuen of Adrian, MI; his grandchildren Christopher Yuen and Hallie Yuen of Adrian, MI; his brother Terry and sister-in-law Kay Satchell of Hendersonville, NC; his brother Dan and sister-in-law Joyce Satchell of Sedalia, Co; his brother Kevin and sister-in-law Cathy Satchell of Oak Ridge, NC; his sister Melanie Hoover of Loudon, TN; his sister Lori and brother-in-law Craig Collins of Nashville, TN and Brussels, Belgium; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Clarence Raymond and Lela Akers Janes, and his paternal grandparents Harold Vivian and Ruth West Satchell.
