She is survived by her children Barbara Denise Shake and Todd Anderson; granddaughter Heather Shake; and two siblings.
Betty loved to quilt and tend to her vegetable garden, but her most treasured hobby was caring for her extensive rose garden that contains over 300 roses, earning her the nickname of "The Rose Lady of Fern Creek". She was known for her green thumb and ability to grow anything.
Betty will be laid to rest privately in Resthaven Memorial Park.
