Diana Avalon Harper, born the 17th of June 1936, went to live with her Heavenly Family on June 25, 2021. Her father was Albert Turner Davie and her mother was Nina Marie Craig Davie. Diana had four siblings to welcome her into the world. Rosemary was 15 years old, Peggy Marie was 13, Albert Craig was 11 and Helen Delores was 18 months old when Diana was born. Diana was always referred to as the baby of the family which she did not appreciate because it usually meant that the rest of the family did not think that she had wisdom which was far from the truth. Diana grew up on a farm where she learned to work hard but also had fun.

She attended Oakwood, Oklahoma schools where she met her husband Eston. He was in second grade and she was in first grade when they first met. They went all the way through school together and later married in 1955 when Eston was in the Army in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. After Eston's discharge from the army, they lived in several different places. During this time, Diana was able to earn college degrees in Medical Technology and in Health Physical Education and Exercise.

Diana's love of Aerobic and Line dancing led her into teaching dance classes for almost 30 years. She taught her last class at the age of 80.

Diana had three wonderful sons during these years: Robert, Scott and Craig. She loved to laugh and enjoy time with family and friends. In 1970 she joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with her family, which ultimately resulted in her serving four missions with her husband in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia and Canada.

Most of all…….she loved her family

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Turner Davie and Nina Marie Craig Davie; her sisters, Rosemary Bouziden, Peggy Marie Parker, Helen Dolores Kramer; and her brother, Albert Craig Davie. Wayne, IN along with their children Jessica, Jeremy, Jonathan, Abigail and her husband Jared and Alexis; Craig Harper and wife Keri of Edmond, OK along with their children Ashlee and her husband Curtis and Alex.
