Wilma Jo (Harthcock) Moisant was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who made every room she was in brighter. She passed away at home, surrounded by family, at age 96 on June 22, 2021.

Born April 7, 1925 in Wayne, Oklahoma to Mamie (Bratcher) and Joseph Harthcock, Wilma attended Purcell High School, where she met high school sweetheart, William P. "Bill" Moisant. They married May 18, 1946 and had four children together: William Joseph, Deborah Ann, Mary Kaye and Michael Gerard.

She attended beauty school and worked as a beautician with her sister Opal for several years. In 1964, she helped Bill start the Moisant Construction Company. She was also very involved with Sacred Heart Church, serving as a past President of the Altar Society, a member of St. Cecilia's Guild, honored as a Lady of Achievement and a parishioner of over 60 years. She especially enjoyed taking Holy Communion to nursing home residents and visiting with them. Due to her health, she later became a parishioner of St. James the Greater and has attended services there for the last decade.

Wilma loved bowling, fishing, cheering the OU Sooners, researching genealogy and writing everything from letters and cards to a family cookbook and her own memoirs. Nothing made her happier than bragging about her family and sharing photos of them with others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, son, Bill Jr., daughter Debbie, son-in-law Steve Hartley, sister Opal Boatright and brother Wesley Harthcock.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Kaye Hartley, son Mike Moisant, daughter-in-law Teresa Moisant; her eight grandchildren: Christi Moisant, Shelly and Jay Rainwater, Lauren and Gideon Hamilton, Travis and Katha Moisant, Trisha and Blake Shannon, Chuck Moisant, Kevin Moisant, Krystal and Wes Canada; great-grandchildren Hudson and Fletcher Rainwater, Carter Moisant and Josh Goff, Ryen, Alexis and Aurelia Moisant, Justyce and Kynslee Shannon, Cooper, Maverick, Kimber Moisant and Conner Bratcher, and Emerson Martinez; great-great grandson Grayson Goff; and numerous relatives across the country and an extensive community of friends, all whom she loved dearly.

Please consider memorials in Wilma's name to St. James the Greater or Mount Saint Mary's high school.
