Norma Anne (Pennell) Sposato, 92, of Lee Street, Westerly, died Feb. 1, 2007, at her home. She was the widow of the late Joseph "Pappa" Sposato.
Born in Brockton, Mass., she was the daughter of the late George and Harriet (Dickerson) Pennell. Mrs. Sposato was a member of the Faith Bible Chapel, a member of the Westerly Senior Citizens and she was a volunteer for 23 years at the Westerly Hospital. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needlework in general and she loved to play bingo.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving, she leaves four sons, Lawrence Hayden of Hope Valley, Jack Hayden of Eugene, Ore., Patrick Hayden and Joseph Sposato Jr., and her daughter Joanne Holmes, all of Westerly, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers Robert, George, and Leon Pennell.
Calling hours are omitted.
Funeral Service and interment will be private.
Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations in Norma's memory be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860-9924.
