James Bruce Bailey was born December 31, 1954 in Hamilton, Ohio; the son of the late Bascom Bailey and Inez Warren Bailey. He was united in marriage to JoAnn Binder Bailey who survives of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He is also survived by his sons Douglas Bailey of London, Kentucky, and Adam Bailey of East Bernstadt; siblings Judy Powell of Hamilton, Ohio, Troy Bailey and wife Janet of East Bernstadt, Anita Jones, Lyn Smith and husband Marvin, and Robin Adams and husband Chuck all of London; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Tammy Bailey.

He was a former employee of Laurel Grocery and an over the road truck driver, a member of the C.D. Ward Lodge #961 F&AM, and of the Christian faith.

James Bruce Bailey departed this life Monday, June 21, 2021 being 66 years, 5 months, and 21 days of age.

Funeral services for James Bruce Bailey will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Helton officiating. Masonic rights will be conducted by the C.D. Ward Lodge #961 F&AM. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
