George Franklin Draine was born September 24, 1939 in Shelbyville (Bedford County), Tennessee to the late Margaret Stone and Jesse B. Draine, Sr. He transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly mansion on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

Draine, as he was affectionally known, attended and graduated from Bedford County Training School in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Draine loved fishing, joking and football in which he was a member of the mighty Bedford County Training School "Tigers" winning seasons. He was employed at various manufacturers in Akron, Ohio and retired from Tyson foods in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in homegoing by brother, Jesse B. Draine, Jr. and nephew, Earl Draine.

Draine's memory will forever be cherished by his devoted wife and caregiver, Lisa Ann Sparrow Draine; devoted sister, Ella Mae Draine Sebastian; daughter, Michelle Nolen of Akron, Ohio; sons, William Dwight (Maxine) Taylor of Nashville, TN, Randy (Molly) Tillman of Nashville, TN and Eric Todd Draine of Akron, Ohio; step-daughters, Conswella (Keith) Johnson, Telisha Sparrow, Conisha Sparrow; step-son, Timmy Sparrow; dedicated and caring niece, Janice (Ted) Sebastin-Hatchett of Nashville, TN; nieces, Dr. JoAnn Sebastian of Antioch, TN and Jessica Draine; nephews, John Thomas "JT" Sebastian of Tucson, AZ, William Mark "Squeaky" Sebastian of Nashville, TN, Jerry Michael (Lindsey) Draine, Andrew S. (Melvinna) Draine of Columbus, OH, David Draine of Shelbyville, TN and Chris (Nina) Draine of Shelbyville, TN; sisters-in-law, Barbara Draine, Valerie (Anderson) Buchanan, Gayle Maher, Vickie Allison and Karen Johnson; best little buddy, grandson, Kegan; and a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
