Anna A. Haberman, 101, died Nov. 7, 2007, at the Rush County Memorial Hospital, La Crosse.

She was born Jan. 19, 1906, in Olmitz, the daughter of George and Anna Schreiber Skolaut. A resident of Larned in 1948, she moved to Rush County. She was a homemaker.

She belonged to St. Michael's Catholic Church, La Crosse, and was a member of St. Michael's Altar Society.

On June 12, 1928, she married Joseph F. Haberman in Olmitz.

Survivors include: two sons, Joseph G., Larned, and Henry L. Haberman, Timken; two daughters, Esther M. Brack, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Joan M. Dreher, La Crosse; and a daughter- in- law.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Melvin E. Haberman; a daughter, Magdlene Haberman; a brother, George H. Skolaut; and two sisters, Ellen Haberman and Stephanie Jarmer; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great- great-grandchildren.

Vigil rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, La Crosse, with Father Rene Labrador presiding. Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m.

Memorials may be sent to Rush County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, La Crosse, or to South Wind Hospice, Pratt. Arrangements are by Janousek Funeral Home.
