John M. Alexander, 61, of 33 Jamestown Street, Randolph, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 1984 in W.C.A. Hospital, Jamestown. He was born Jan. 27, 1923, a son of the late Delano and Shirley Stearns Alexander. Mr. Alexander was a life underwriter for John Hancock Insurance Co. while living in Galesburg, Ill. and Erie, Pa. More recently he was employed at the Borden Co., Randolph, retiring in 1973. A graduate of Randolph Central School and Knox College, Galesburg, he was a member of Randolph United Presbyterian Church... A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Alexander was a member of American Legion Post No. 181.
