- Katherine was the mother to 14 Children.

Before the 1900 Census, Katherine gave birth to these five children:
- George (1894), Laura (1895), Carl (1896), Phillip (1898) and Catherine (1899).

- Then, between the 1900 and 1910 Census Katherine gave birth to an additional six children: Caecilia (1901), Mathilda (1902), Elizabeth (1905), John (1906), Clara (1908) and Martha (1909).

- The last three children were born between the 1910 to 1920 Census:
Jerome (1911), Anna (1914) and Madeline (1916).

Funeral For Mrs. Dieter Next Monday

Early Resident Here Died Monday After Heart Attack At Home

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at St. Leonard's church for Mrs. John Dieter, who passed away at her home near Madison Monday night, at the age of 71 years. She had been in failing health for the past several years. Death was due to a heart attack.

Katherine Feiling was born in Farmrich, Illinois on April 14, 1872, and moved to Nebraska with her parents in 1883, when she was 11 years old. She was the daughter of the late Valentine and Josephine. She married John Dieter on April 19, 1893. To this union were born 14 children with one daughter dying in infancy.

Children: George, Carl, Philip, Laura, Caecilia, Tillie, Elizabeth, Martha, Ann and Magdalene of Madison, Mrs. Harry Jackson of Hancock, Iowa, Cpl John of Camp Edwards, Massachusetts and P.F.C Jerome of Camp Roberts, California. In addition five grandchildren. She was the last of the living members of the Feiling family with six brother and four sisters.

She was a faithful member of the Christian Mother society of the St. Leonard's church for more than 35 years.
