He was born October 22, 1947 in Effingham, IL. He married Norma Sue Jones on August 21, 1976 in Champaign, IL.
He was a novelty store owner and of the Baptist faith. Stephen's hobbies were painting, hunting and fishing and he also enjoyed car shows.
He is survived by his wife: Norma Greear of Neelyville, MO; children: Kenton of Peoria, Tammy Frayer & husband Ernest of Fillmore, Kimberly Prokop & husband Jeffery of St. Charles, Travis Greear & wife Mary of Kinmundy, Brandin Greear & wife Misty of Naylor, MO, Stacy Walker & husband Brandon of Naylor, MO; sisters: Janet White of Tennessee, Misty White of Flora, Florence White of Champaign; brothers: Terry, Kyle, Bryan and Berry White all of Kinmundy; 9 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother (Yvonne White), son (Stephen Anthony Greear II) and 2 grandsons (Shawn & Jayson Greear).
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Elder Cemetery, Kinmundy.
