MARY'S OBITUARY

Mary Rena McCracken, age 87 of Lewistown, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, in Country aire Retirement Estates in Lewistown, MO.

She was born February 18, 1934, in Shelby, County, MO the daughter of John Porter and Frances Benjamin Vanskike Daugherty.

She was untied in marriage to Samuel McCraken on July 3, 1952 and he preceded her in death in 1999. Mary was also preceded by her parents, three brothers, Gene, Harold and Johnny Daugherty and one sister Phyllis Bartling.

Surviving are three children, Janet (Richard) Porter of Lewistown, MO, Joy (Bob) Huebotter of LaBelle, MO, and Joe (Didgette) McCraken of John Day, OR, ten grandchildren, Wade Richardson (Becky), Lance (Courtney) Richardson, Holly (Nick) Logsdon, Aaron Hayden (Dawn), Andy (Michelle) Hayden, Angie (John) Chapman, Alexa (Donnie) Gunter, Alek Huebotter, Sam McCracken and Bailey McCracken. and twelve great grandchildren.

Mary attended schools in Shelby County. She was employed with Farm Services Agency as a clerk for 33 years. She and her husband were engaged in farming for many years in Lewis County, MO. Mary enjoyed gardening, flowers, raising cattle and also volunteered at Hospice.

Mary will be cremated and no services will be held. Burial will be held at a later date in the Steffenville Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Steffenville Cemetery of Hospice of Northeast Missouri. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Coder Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 151, LaBelle, MO 63447.
