Karl James Bassuener, 49, of Rudolph, passed away at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, following an automobile accident.
There will be no public services or visitation.
Karl was born on June 2, 1961, in Wisconsin Rapids, to Richard and Rose Ann (Lobner) Bassuener. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1979 and went on to attend Mid-State Technical College, earning a degree in business and marketing.
Karl was employed for 12 years as a maintenance supervisor with a property management company and for the past 10 years worked as power plant operator in charge for the State of Wisconsin. He married Julie Flaherty on Feb. 12, 1990, and they had three lovely daughters, Jessica Lynn, Haley Rose and Michelle Margaret.
Karl had many interests, but especially loved being with his family, trapping with his father, hunting, fishing, reading and being a grandfather. Karl loved his family home on the Wisconsin River where he spent the majority of his spare time doing outdoor activities.
