Bernice Ausbon Sandlin, age 79, of Leitchfield, passed away, Monday, June 14, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

She was born June 13, 1942, to the late Kelly and Ruby Alice Harrell Ausbon. She was retired dietary aide from Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center; a housewife and a member of Broadway Baptist Church.

Bernice is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles Sandlin; two sons, Charles Everett Sandlin of Georgetown and Larry Dewain (Sharon) Sandlin of Leitchfield; a daughter, Melinda Sue Clark of Caneyville; seven grandchildren, Michael, Kelly, Tiffany, Sydney, Sara, Jacob and T.J.; eight great-grandchildren, Chelivia, Jasaiah, McKenzie, Abbryana, Serentiy, Kaia, Tobias and Baby Knox; two sisters, Bonnie Grubs and Joyce A. Joyce and two brothers, Lenny (Jackie) Ausbon and Murrell (Lily) Ausbon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, June 18, 2021, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Hank Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 AM, Friday until the service time at the funeral home.
