[ I have added an excerpt from "Jesse Smith, His Ancestors and Descendants" to Seth's "Photos". It shows that Seth was born in (and likely died in) Sharon, Litchfield County, CT. The excerpt DOB is 11 Apr. 1775 and DOD 15 Sept. 1777. His gravestone clearly shows Æ 17 months. Since Seth's older sister Huldah's DOB is 8 Nov. 1774, it is highly unlikely that Seth was born just five months later. I suggest that his DOB was 11 Apr. 1776 and that he died 17 months later on 15 Sept. 1777. -per Buddy Leech]
