Last rites for W. W. Worley, 67, of Hosston, who died at a local sanitarium Friday after a brief illness, were held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Hosston Baptist church, with the Rev. J. P. Olive, pastor, and the Rev. J. E. Wakefield of Pineville, officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Park cemetery here, under the direction of the Wellman Funeral home. Active pallbearers were nephews of Mr. Worley, Dale, LeRoy, Drew, Aylmer, Dewey, and Simmons Worley, Carrol Burkholder, and Hebert Adams. Mr. Worley is survived by his widow, Mrs. Madie D. Worley; two daughters, Mrs. W. M. Schaffer of Baltimore, Md., and Grace Worley of Boston, Mass.; three sisters, Mrs. Ann Crow of Minden, Mrs. M. B. Crow of Belton, Texas, and Mrs. George Adams of Hosston; two brothers, T. S. Worley of Snyder, Texas, and Dr. A. G. Worley of Haynesville, and many nephews and nieces. Mr. Worley was a native of Claiborne parish, serving as constable there for many years. He had been a resident of Caddo parish for the past 30 years and was a member of the Baptist church, W. O. W., and a 32nd degree Mason. He was a brother of the late Dr. W. B. Worley and an uncle of Dr. W. B. Worley of Shreveport.
