Obituary of Fred Wayne Hightower
Funeral services for Mr. Fred Wayne Hightower are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, June 15, 2021, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove South Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12 noon until 2 PM service time at Goldens.

Mr. Hightower, a retired employee of Third Ward Water Company and of the Baptist faith, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, at the age of seventy-three. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Hightower loved deer hunting, fishing, horses and the rodeo, but his children and grandchildren were his heart.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Veuleman, and Rebecca Musgrove and husband Joey; brothers, Don Hightower, and Mark Hightower and wife Jannice; grandchildren, Mathew Davis, Kaitlyn Davis, Colton Naff, and Gage Naff.

Mr. Hightower is preceded in death by his parents, John and Novie Hightower; wife, Deborah Hightower; brother, J.M. Hightower; and sister, Della Bailey.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Colton Naff, Eric Hightower, John Hightower, Joey Musgrove, Brandon Bulloch, and T.J. Little.
