She was born on July 14, 1935 in Greer, Ohio to the late Edward and Mary (Solomon) Styers. Catherine was employed as a RN and worked at St. Ann's Hospital where she retired with over 40 years of service. She was a 65 year member of Grange and was a member of the Milford Church of Christ. Catherine enjoyed quilting but most of all she loved the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband, of over 58 years, Marvin Moore; her daughter Pam (Tim) Evans; her son Preston (Mary) Moore; seven grandchildren, Ben Moore, Rose More, Sarah (Josh) Dayton, Mark Evans, Cynthia (Corey) Johnson, Geoffrey Lee, Melissa (Kyle) Hamilton; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley (Gary) Hughes and Colleen Brokaw.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her daughter Amy Lee.
Friends may call on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5-7PM at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. A service will be held on Friday, beginning at 11AM, with Pastor Kevin Moreland officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
