Elizabeth Ruyle was born 20th of March 1845 south of Scottsville, Macoupin County, Illinois, and resided there until 13 years of age. She, then with her parents moved to Felter, (Richwood is the name of Church & Cemetery there) Green County, Illinois. She was married to Milton A. Fisher in September 1881, and they moved to Oklahoma. They lived there until 1919. Later she came to live with her sister Mrs. Mary Walker, with whom she has lived since.
She was converted when young and lived a erChristian life until God saw it fit to call her home, 10 February 1925. Her husband passed away 02 July 1920. Mrs. Fisher was 79 years, 10 months and 22 day old at the time of her passing away from this life.
She leaves to mourn for her one sister Mrs. Mary Walker of Newton, Kansas, one brother in Green County. Illinois , and one brother at Foss, Oklahoma.
Funeral services were held at the Sprinker Mortuary, Thursday February 12 at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. D. L. Griffin pastor of the Church of the Nazarene. Interment was in the Walton Cemetery.
