Funeral services for Mr. Charles W. Coutee were held on Friday, January 10, 2014 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana, Reverend Lane Fletcher officiated. Interment followed in Campbell Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Coutee, age 68, of Boyce, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

He was a native of Boyce and was a proud U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran. He was retired from Cleco. He was a musician, mastering the lead guitar. In his leisure time he enjoyed cooking, eating and reading.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Arleen Howell Coutee; parents, A.M. and Polly Coutee; one daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Coutee.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law of Boyce; one daughter and son-in-law of Boyce; one brother and sister-in-law of Lena; five grandchildren; four nieces and nephews; also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Services were under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana.
