Addis Forest "Joe", about 87, died April 19, 1969 at the Luckey Memorial Nursing Home in Wolf Lake. He was born in Noble County May 23, 1881, the son of Jefferson and Mary (Wilkins) Addis, and had spent his entire lifetime in this county. He had lived more than 50 years on his farm south of Kimmell on Highway 33. Prior to engaging in farming, he had worked as a blacksmith for many years. He was married to Clara Beesecker at Albion on Feb. 23, 1904. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Forest Leroy of Atlanta, Ga., and Ray of R. 1, Kimmell; three grandchildren. Three sisters and one brother preceded him in death. He was a 50-year member of the Wolf Lake Lodge of the Knights of Pythias. Funeral was April 22 at Bonham, Miser & Brazzell Funeral Home.
