Emmett Dixon Bell Sr. - Age 93 years, Friday morning, June 8, 1979 at Westside Hospital. Survived by daughters, Mrs. George T. Lewis of Memphis and Mrs. Martha Bell Rimlinger, Nashville; sons, John A. Bell, Nashville and Dr. Emmett D. Bell Jr., Memphis; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; brother, Thomas D. Bell of Nashville. His remains are at the Chapel of Martin's and Bracey-Welsh, 209 Louise Avenue, where services will be held Monday removing at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Stuart Nunnally and Rev. Arden B. Schlesinger. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 2 til 4 and 7 til 9 p.m.
