Gloria J. Bonnell-Briggs-Hoehne, 87, of Marshall died on Tuesday June 8, 2021, at The Villas at Winston Park following a short illness.
Gloria was born on June 20, 1933, to Harry and Gladys (Katz) Morris at the home of her grandparents, John and Daisy (Cooley) Katz in Marshall. She grew up in Marshall and graduated from High School in 1951.
Gloria worked for Marshall High School Principal E.G. Rose from 1950-1951; Grant Bookkeeping 1951 &1952; State Farm Insurance Company from 1952-1957; Lowell Manufacturing Incorporated; and from 1967-1981 The Community Advisor and Chronicle.
Gloria was a member of Saint Mary Catholic Church, The Oaklawn Hospital Auxiliary, The Marshall Women of the Moose #202, and the American Red Cross. Gloria was very active in all of the groups she belonged to from ushering at church, working the front desk at the hospital, and being the chairman of the blood drive for several years. She loved to help and give back to her church and community. She enjoyed golf, bowling, traveling, fishing, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
Gloria was married on June 29, 1957 to George P. Bonnell. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1991. On June 5, 1994 Gloria married Vernon W. Briggs, and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2010. On October 20, 2016 she married Earl N. Hoehne in Marshall.
She is survived by her husband Earl; two "Special" sons, Steven (Bernita) Bonnell and Dennis (Cristy) Bonnell; granddaughters, Lesley (Jose) Cardoza Jr. Courtney (Corey) Olcheske; grandsons Patrick (Jacualyn) Bonnell, and Kyle Bonnell; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother John "Jack" (Phyllis) Morris; many nieces, nephews and cousins; Earls children Alan (Kathy) Hoehne, Stephanie Hoehne-Mattly; his grandchildren Conrad Mattly, Cody Hoehne, Taylor Hoehne, Michelle Mack, and Danielle Mack; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands.

Interment will follow at Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery.
