Memorial service for Meta M. Davison, 92, former nursing home operator, was held Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, where she was a member, Rev. Wilton Hills officiating. Burial followed at Fairmount Memorial Park with Ball & Dodd Funeral Home-South in charge.

Mrs. Davison, who died Friday, was born in Nebraska and came to Spokane in 1945. She and her husband, Claude "Davy" Davison, owned and operated the City View Nursing Home from 1947 until 1970. Her husband died in 1989.

She was formerly active in the Spokane Nursing Home Association.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Davis of Spokane; one sister, Elsie Mueller of Columbus, Nebraska; three granddaughters, Kaani Davis, Kimberly Davis and Katherine Davis, all of Spokane; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
