He was BORN 12/29/1917 in Milam County, formerly lived in Cameron. Veteran of WW-2 and member of San Andres Masonic Lodge No. 170. Retired employee of Dow Chemical Co.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Bennye Marie Ottmer Laffere of Lake Jackson; 2 sons, Bennie Laffere of Austin and Troy Laffere of Lake Jackson; brother, Lawrence Laffere of Cameron; sister, Edna Fischer of Rogers; 2 grandchildren.
