Funeral Services for Fruto Man Held Today....
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Elk Creek Christion Church for William Elijah Shields, 54, a Fruto District resident who dropped dead Monday afternoon at his home, after a Christmas dinner. Shields was a foreman on one of Mrs P H Green's ranches. Decedent is survived by his widow Lela, and seven children; Louis,Shirley of Fruto, James Shields and Mrs Raymond Conner(Clara Opal Shields) of Willows, Mrs Earnest E Fix(Reta Catherine Shields)of Woodland. Mrs Frank Terry(Melva L Graybeal Shields) Maxwell. Fred Shields Willow Ranch.
