Carmen Elaine Rodriquez was born August 9, 1915, in British Guiana, South America and died November 8, 2005, in South Bend, Indiana. She is buried at East Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona along with her mother, Marie Hubbard Zaphereoun. Carmen entered the United States accompanied by her mother via Ellis Island. She married Waldron "Wally" Greene in 1934 and they had one son, Franchot Conrad Greene before Wally was killed in action in Italy during World War ll. She later married Robert Dash and they had one son, Dennis Dash. She was married 6 times and was a widow four times. She lived in many places including New York, Washington, Arizona, and Indiana. She enjoyed traveling and visiting with her friends but most of all loved spending time with her vast family. She left behind a large, loving family: sons Franchot (Elaine) of New York, Dennis Dash (Nancy) of Tucson; stepson, Dennis Scott; stepdaughter, Princess McCullough of Indiana; granddaughter, Kamella Dash; step- granddaughters, Linda Gee (Tommy), Aimee Hernandez (Danny), Amanda Battor (Joey). Great grandchildren include Maalik, Jamilah, Maya, Jalin, Daima, Daniel, Sarah, Rebekah, Nathan, Ashtyn, Aidan, Ragan and Brendan. She has eight great-great grandchildren. Graveside services were held on November 16, 2005, at East Lawn Cemetery.
