Shirley and Bert moved from South Dakota to Seattle, Washington in 1958, and then moved to Spartanburg in 1972. Shirley's greatest loves were her family and the lord. She was known for her beautiful flower gardens, and if you were with her for more than five minutes, she would say "Come visit and see my gardens." Her favorite past time was playing dominoes by her rules which sometimes varied.
A private service will be held, a public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
